AS the former President of the United States, I thought Barack Obama would be squeaky clean in every aspect of his life – even his music tastes.

But the politician, who spent eight years in the White House until 2017, has included some surprise choices in a playlist of his favourite songs of the summer, which features a Charli XCX track about doing copious amounts of drugs.

Charli’s shock track includes the lyrics ‘Shall we do a little key? Shall we have a little line?[/caption]

When he published his list on Instagram on Monday many were shocked to see the track 365 included, as it features Charli singing: “Shall we do a little key? Shall we have a little line?”

I guess he’s having a Brat summer like millions of others.

Yet it’s not the only tune to raise eyebrows.

Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s song Wanna Be is on there – with almost 30 swearwords and X-rated lines about sex too crude to repeat here.

That is also the case in Tyla, Gunna and Skillbeng’s Jump, which Barack said he has had on repeat.

It features Gunna rapping about what he wants to do to someone in the bedroom.

I expect Barack’s daughters Malia and Sasha, who are both in their twenties, will be skipping family karaoke nights if these are the lyrics their dad wants to sing.

NICK NOT NAUGHTY AS HE CELEBRATES 40

CONGRATULATIONS to Nick Grimshaw, who is celebrating his 40th birthday today – and he marked it by proving his wild days might just be over.

The presenter, who was known as a proper party animal during his time working at Radio 1 from 2007 to 2018, went on what was supposed to be a crazy night out at Ibiza nightclub DC-10 with his close pal RITA ORA and his dancer fiance Mesh Henry on Monday.

But he was already back at his hotel within a few hours and finished the night with a bowl of Coco Pops, a bottle of sparkling water and some night-time reading of a book called Secret Walks Of Ibiza South.

Nick, who has flown his family out to the White Isle for the week to celebrate the milestone, did still manage to stay at the club until after 3am though, which is a lot better than I’ve done in a while.

And he was still up in time for a healthy lunch in the sunshine yesterday.

I just hope the hangover cleared in time for his actual birthday today.

Aisle be, it’s Ed in Sainsbo

A GLOBAL superstar is the last thing I expect to see when I pop to the supermarket to do the big shop.

But fans turned out in force when Ed Sheeran appeared at a Sainsbury’s outside St Albans, Herts, yesterday to flog his brand of hot sauce.

The Perfect singer used his Tingly Ted’s condiment to give “sauceographs” to shoppers, signing everything from blocks of cheddar to kitchen rolls with the hot stuff.

Ed, on a rare break from his Mathematics Tour, said: “It was super exciting popping into Sainsbury’s and surprising some shoppers. Tingly Ted’s has been such a fun project.”

Unsurprisingly, hundreds of people turned out after Ed teased the appearance on social media.

If Taylor Swift could pop down to my local Aldi next, I’d be absolutely chuffed.

JANET'S A-LISTER COUSINS

AS part of one of the most famous music dynasties in the world, Janet Jackson is pretty well connected.

But it turns out their family tree is a little more extensive than many of us knew.

Speaking to Scott Mills on Radio 2, the All For You singer revealed that Stevie Wonder, is among a string of very famous cousins.

She confirmed: “Yes, he’s our cousin. Not a lot of people know that.

“He’s our cousin on my mother’s side. So is Tracy Chapman. So is Samuel L. Jackson.”

This has got Who Do You Think You Are? written all over it.
Janet is in the UK ahead of five huge shows, starting in Birmingham on September 27.

And while Beyonce sings when running on a treadmill to get fit for her shows, Janet has revealed her trick.

She said: “A trampoline, that’s how you condition singing, to get your heartrate up and to be able to move and sing at the same time.”

But Janet said she needed a bit more help with her costume changes.

She added: “I have people helping me, someone at my feet that’s changing my shoes, someone who is changing and I help myself.”

Somefin up, Liam?

LIAM PAYNE and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy could barely raise a smile on a night out .

They looked stony-faced as they left sushi restaurant Sexy Fish in Manchester.

Before heading out, Kate had shared a video on TikTok talking about their outfits, with Liam telling her: “You’re nice and covered up, for once.”

That’s one way to put a downer on her evening, Liam.

LADY Gaga and Bruno Mars are gearing up to release a superstar collaboration in days.

Their track, Die With A Smile, is believed to be the lead single from Bruno’s first solo album since 2016’s 24K Magic.

Rumours started to swirl about a potential collaboration at the weekend then she put black heart emojis under his latest post on Instagram, which fuelled the speculation even further.

Gaga has also been teasing her next album, although I’ve been told we shouldn’t expect to hear anything from that until after her movie Joker: Folie à Deux comes out in October.
